# Committed-spend discounts for open-model inference
URL: https://docs.munito.ai/committed-spend

Committed spend gives your organization volume rates for open-model inference. Your organization signs a contract for an amount of usage, and Munito AI sends an invoice each month. The order form of the contract sets the amount, the rates and the payment terms. Prepaid credits stay the self-serve path, with no contract.

The API is the same under both. Use the base URL `https://api.munito.ai/inference/v1` (OpenAI SDK) or `https://api.munito.ai/inference` (Anthropic SDK), with your key in `MUNITO_API_KEY`.

## How a contract works [#how-a-contract-works]

1. Send your expected usage to hello@munito.ai, or through Support in the [console](https://console.munito.ai): the models, the volume and the region.
2. Munito AI prepares an order form with the amount, the volume rates and the payment terms.
3. Both parties sign the order form. The [Data Processing Agreement](https://legal.munito.ai/dpa) applies to the processing.
4. Munito AI sends an invoice for each month of usage. The invoice is due 30 days after its date (net 30).

The order form prevails over the [Terms of Service](https://legal.munito.ai/terms) for what it covers, such as prices, limits and payment terms. The Terms of Service state the interest on a late payment.

## Which company signs [#which-company-signs]

| Customer                                          | Signs and invoices | Payment                                             |
| ------------------------------------------------- | ------------------ | --------------------------------------------------- |
| European customers, and every self-serve customer | Munito AI France | By card for credits, or the terms of the order form |
| US customers with a contract | Munito AI Inc. | Bank transfer |

Munito AI France is a French SAS in Paris. Prices exclude VAT and other taxes, which Munito AI adds where the law requires. For a business in another EU country with a valid VAT number, the reverse charge applies.

## Prepaid credits [#prepaid-credits]

Prepaid credits need no contract. Buy them on the Billing page of the [console](https://console.munito.ai), and pay by card. All workspaces and API keys of an organization share one balance. An automatic top-up can buy credits when the balance falls to a threshold that you set. When the balance reaches zero, your organization moves to the free tier until you add credits.

## Track your spend [#track-your-spend]

The Billing page of the console shows your balance, your invoices and your spend limits. Owners and admins can set a daily and a monthly spend limit there.

A key with the `admin:read` permission reads the spend of today and of this month through the [Admin API](https://docs.munito.ai/administration):

```bash
export MUNITO_ADMIN_KEY="munitoai_..."
curl https://api.munito.ai/admin/v1/limits \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $MUNITO_ADMIN_KEY"
```
